As a graduate of the class of 1998, a teacher of sciences, and now currently the school counselor at Marion County High School,                   Mrs. Cameron Perry has always been a warrior!  She recieved her bachelor's degree in Forestry and Geology from the University of the South: Sewanee in 2002.  As a new graduate she embarked upon a teaching career at Jasper Middle School where she taught 7th grade science for three years.  She then moved to Marion County High School to teach physical science and geology for four years.  During this time she acquired a master's degree from Tennessee Tech University in Instructional Leadership.  At the suggestion of collegues who identifyied her potential for counseling, she attended the University of West Alabama and recieved her master's degree in School Counseling in 2009. 

Mrs. Perry feels that she is called to be a school counselor.  She enjoys guiding students through high school and helps broaden college and career opportunities.  Scheduling, administering assessments, completing college applications, and evaluating transcripts are a few of the tasks that she preforms at Marion County High School.  She welcomes any student or parent to stop by her office for any counseling needs they may have.
