FACS is a comprehensive, foundation course designed to assist students in developing the core knowledge and skills needed to manage their lives. Emphasis is on leadership, human develpment, family and parenting education, nutrition and foods, sewing construction concepts, and career preparation. There will be hands on projects, problem solving, critical thinking, working cooperatively, reading relavant text and writing.
