Upon completion of each chapter of Buen Viaje. The students are able to communicate in Spanish in a real life situation. The activities within each chapter involve reading, speaking, comparing, etc. The students have also a lot of open-ended activities that may use all forms of the particular structure in question and answer format. Activities that encourage completely free communication enable students to recall and reincorporate all the Spanish they have learned up to that point. The students also learn spanish through singing, reciting poems, memory work, reading original books, playing language related games, celebrating holidays of the hispanic world and supporting diversity in our community.
